I wanted to visit Budapest for a long time, and this dream has come true. Budapest, Hungary’s capital, is bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest. A funicular runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town, where the Budapest History Museum traces city life from Roman times onward.
I needed to wait 7 hours in Budapest Airport, and I decided why to wait in airport while I can go out and explore the city a little bit. I know that 7 hours aren’t enough to explore a big city as Budapest. But 5 hours are a great time in this city.
When I was at airport I saw in internet some places that I can visit and I was looking to find two or three place who were near with each other. This would save me some time and it would be more easier to go around the city for a little bit and then catch the flight again.
I am really amazed from Budapest, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, the style that the buildings have there in wonderful and everything looks so amazing. This city will make you to want to stay there forever.
So, straight from the airport I went in Buda Castle the first place to visit in Budapest, this one was highly recommended from peoples in interned so, I decided to go there first. Buda Castle is the historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings in Budapest, this place is so wonderful and you will fall in love with this place from the first sight. If you will go in Budapest than you must visit this place and spent some time there.
Second place to visit in Budapest is St. Stephen’s Basilica which is a Roman Catholic basilica in Budapest, Hungary. It is named in honour of Stephen, the first King of Hungary. This was one of the places that are in the center and this place was amazing, I don’t know what others thinks about Budapest but for me is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
After visiting this two places I decided to go to the State Opera to. The Hungarian State Opera House is a neo-Renaissance opera house located in central Budapest. I was lucky enough to get a tour inside the State Opera which was incredible and one of the most beautiful Opera Houses that I have visited.
A short visit in Budapest was tiring but great. I think that for this city everyone will need one week to make a full tour of the city and to see everything that Budapest offers.
