Asian cultures have ways of giving thanks that may seem unusual to those living in the Western world. At one photography school in Thailand, there’s an annual tradition of giving thanks with an impressive altar of DSLR camera gear.
The photo above by photographer Apidol Punapanont shows a ceremony the school’s students have done over the past 11 years.
With a giant collection of their pricey DSLR kits laid on the altar, the students give thanks to the teachers who have trained them up in the art of photography.
